Pat 's Story
Decided to write today (9/2/16) because Doug and I are celebrating our 49th Anniversary! We moved to Massachusetts in 1967 and fell in love with New England. Currently we live in North Andover.
After 5 years as a math teacher, I went back to school for my MBA (at Babson), worked for a couple of years in Executive Search, transitioned to become a Career Counselor/Director of Cooperative Education at Suffolk University for 9 years. After working for 18 years at UMass Lowell, I retired three years ago as Dean of Career Development. For the record, I really loved my work AND I really love retirement!!
Doug, a physicist (and so much more) is still consulting at Covaris (a life sciences R&D and manufacturing tech company). He's an avid sailor and all-around good sport.

h a lively group of friends from UMass - and we NEVER practice. Every lesson is like lesson #1 for us - we have way too much fun.
We have one wonderful daughter, Kim Scott! Kim lives with her husband, Tim, and the BEST children ever: Soneva (almost 15) and Kai (just turned 13) in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Kim was formerly a teacher but decided on a career change and is now an Ultrasound Medical Tech. Soneva and Kai are competitive skiers and rugby players. Both are excellent students at STEM Academy -- but most importantly - they both are FUN to be with, kind, polite and FUN!
Every year for the past 10 (or maybe more) years, the (self-named) Fab Four from NHS (Nita Neal Staub, Barbara Reck Furumori, Susan Schweer Novick and I) get together for our own reunion. We'll be at the big 50 Reunion and can't wait to re-connect with everyone!
